McArthur urges Orkney carers to share their experiences
Orkney’s MSP, Liam McArthur, has today asked unpaid carers in the islands to respond to Carers Scotland’s annual ‘State of Caring Survey’, which offers carers the chance to share the impact of caring responsibilities on their lives and the issues they face.
Commenting on the survey, McArthur said:
“Every year, responses to this survey inform policy and help identify the support needed locally and nationally for Scotland’s carers.
“Too often, the challenges faced by those with caring responsibilities go unnoticed, and it’s vital that their experiences are recognised. I would strongly encourage carers in Orkney to fill in the survey and ensure their voices are heard.”
